Currently seeking an Experienced HVAC Estimator for a small/medium sized well established company. We are seeking someone who is well versed in all aspects of Industrial/Commercial/Institutional HVAC. Mechanical estimating experience in Health Care, Military installations, Institutions with an Energy emphasis. Experience in project size range of 25k to 2.5million
Must have a minimum of 3 year experience or a degree in related field
Must be able to read and understand specifications and blueprints
Must be able to perform take off from blue prints
Must be able to communicate with supplier and vendors and gather pricing
Must be organized, punctual, and a dedicated person
Must have strong computer skills
Primary Job Duties:
Planning, implementing and maintaining estimating/sales activities.
Proven record of accomplishment in commercial HVAC sales.
Multi-tasking and estimating several jobs simultaneously.
Estimating projects up to $3MM, portfolio up to $6MM
Estimate from plan/spec and design/build.
Prepare estimates with sound job costing for the execution phase.
Build strong and positive relationships with vendors and clients.
Leed AP certification a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
