Operations Analyst
Brooksource is searching for an Operations Analyst for a 3
month contract with a client of ours located in the West Bend, WI area. This individual will support multiple platforms following established practices and procedures within our client's environment. The Operations Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support during our clients off hours (3rd shift) and will be expected to demonstrate strong communication and problem solving skills.
Position Responsibilities Include:
Ensuring stable operating environments and attaining maximum utilization of system facilities.
Operates and monitors console systems and peripheral equipment such as printers, disk and tape storage devices.
Conducts routine technical procedures including: adding and running ad hoc jobs in the Enterprise Job Scheduler, user administration, participates in disaster recovery exercises, conduct code promotes, tape rotation duties, etc.
Take first-level support calls to assist User Support and maintain documentation.
Support for multiple platforms including: Windows, UNIX, Mainframe, and Desktop/peripherals.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
