This position will be responsible for both assisting the Supervisor in the overall operation of his or her assigned shift, as well as controlling and monitoring the film production of his or her designated lines.
The Technical Leader should have a high working understanding of the extruder lines and have the ability to coach employees on its operations and communicate to people the basic functions of the machinery.

Extruder Technical Team Leader Hit Apply nnMinimum of 5 years of Blown Film Extrusion Experience nAt least 1 year of experience training and/or leading a team nExcellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills to communicate and coordinate effectively with internal personnel.
nAbility to read, comprehend and write correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to fellow employees.
nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
nMust have a valid forklift license.
nMust be willing and able to work overtime when requirednWork in a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, dollies, forklift, hand tools, safety knives, packaging equipment, pallet jacks, and standard safety equipment.
nUtilize resource materials including production schedule and standardize forms/paperwork.
nVision capabilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
nExperience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, and Excel), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
nMaintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
nExceptional time management and organization skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
nAbility to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
nProactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
