Summary:
Under the direction of the Child Care Director, the Child Care Assistant Director is responsible for the implementation of the Child Care programs at the Kettle Moraine YMCA.
Essential Functions:
Administers the program responsibilities in accordance with DCF Wisconsin Licensing Rules for Group Child Care Centers and YMCA Child Care Policies.
Spends time in program supporting, assessing, and developing staff and curriculum to meet quality guidelines.
Develops and provides support to Site Directors and Teachers including behavior management.
Assists in Youngstar renewals and implementation along with the overall strategic plans of the organization.
Assists in hiring, training, evaluating and supervising of staff.
Provides leadership to the Child Care Cabinet Meetings Provides Childcare orientation to ensure all staff are trained to be successful in the classroom.
Ensure curriculum meets quality guidelines and observes classrooms and staff to ensure quality standards are met.
Assist Site Director's with staff meetings and performs reviews.
Maintains or delegates all required paperwork for the program.
Assists the Child Care Director to develop an annual budget.
Monitors program for compliance with Food Program Guidelines.
Conducts tours and monitors the intake of new enrollment as needed.
Collaborates with community organizations to enhance the quality of the program.
Provide emergency relief for classroom teachers when ratios need to be met.
At the discretion of the Child Care Director, attends continuing education to increase knowledge and obtain required certifications.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum age of 21 years old.
Bachelor's Degree preferred; Associates Degree required.
2 years of management/supervisory experience Previous classroom experience Center Director for 51 or more children preferred.
Current CPR/AED certification preferred; required within 30 days of hire.
Must complete and pass fingerprint check.
Must complete a Health Physical within 30 days of hire.
High level of written and oral communication skills, customer service skills and the ability to relate to diverse groups of people.
Ability to interact with children at their cognitive level.
PHYSICAL DEMAND The ability to lift 40lbs.
The ability to participate in required physical activities with the children.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
